Shipping

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR COMPLIANCE WITH YOUR LOCAL AND STATE LAWS FOR SHIPMENT OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. BY PLACING AN ORDER, YOU REPRESENT YOU ARE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD AND LEGALLY ENTITLED TO TAKE QUANTITIES ORDERED AND THE PERSON TO WHOM THE DELIVERY IS MADE IS AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD. A CARRIER WILL CHECK IDENTIFICATION AND THE PERSON ACCEPTING DELIVERY WILL NEED TO SIGN FOR THE RECEIPT OF THEIR SHIPMENT.

NOTE: WE DO NOT SHIP TO PO BOX, AND WE ARE NOT SHIPPING INTERNATIONALLY AT THIS MOMENT.

Processing Time & Shipping Options

Most orders are processed within 48 hours, we will do our best to ship out all orders as quickly as possible. However, on rare occasions there may be a delay in shipping, and in that case, we will notify you by email.

Delivery time is 3 to 10 business days. For express delivery, we offer “next day” and “2-day” options (some states are not available for this service). To avoid the weekends, which our carriers do not deliver, we don’t ship on Thursday or Friday for express option. Our carriers do their best to deliver on time, however, due to holidays, weather, and other disruptions we cannot guarantee any shipments.

Weather Hold

Extreme weather conditions can damage the wine in transit; therefore, we strongly recommend holding your orders until weather conditions improve. When you do not choose to hold, you accept the responsibility for any damage to the items that may occur due to extreme temperatures in transit.

Delivery Attempt

It is your responsibility to be present at the time of delivery for an adult age 21 or older signature. Our carriers will try a subsequent attempt (typically up to 3 times), after the final attempt, your order will be returned to our warehouse. You will be required to incur the shipping cost.

Return 

You are responsible for the shipping cost to all return items.

ALCOHOL 

Please check your purchases carefully before completing your purchase. Under California law alcohol returns can only be accepted if the product is spoiled or otherwise unfit for consumption, which in case may be returned for store credit only within 14 days of purchase. All returned alcohol must be accompanied with its original receipt.

Note that it's standard practice in the wine industry that all bottles five years or older are purchased at the buyer's risk.

NON-ALCOHOL 

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase of any unopened in new condition non-alcohol items, we will make every effort to accommodate your return request. Merchandise must be returned within 20 days of the purchase date with a receipt. All returns are for store credit only, no exceptions.

Personalized items with engraving or embossing are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged or refunded except when due to a product defect.

CANCELLATION OF AN ORDER

To cancel your order, please contact us immediately at info@v5wines.com.  If the product is still in our store and has not been shipped, we will issue a refund to your original payment method. You will be charged a 10% restocking fee, and a 4% credit card fee if a credit card is used.
